Oh, Love...

Oh Love, oh love
Won't you rain on me tonight?
Oh life, oh life
Please don't pass me by

Don't stop, don't stop
Don't stop when the red lights flash
Oh ride, free ride
Won't you take me close to you

#Green Day - Oh, Love - ¡Uno!

When I saw this panel, I couldn't get it out of my head. Maybe because I think it tune in with the song that been on my mind this past few weeks. This one taken from a one shot manga that I read. Don’t ask the title, cause I already forgot, it’s in Japanese anyway. But I could tell you the genre, its josei. If you knew me, you may laugh all you want. Working on romance books, tend to affected you somehow, believe me. Yeah, yeah, I’m on denial mode right now.

Back on the pic. This pic is the perfect kind of romance that I long to see. That man just seeing off his pretend-lover home on a rainy afternoon after their encounter at that man house. His lover, unexpectedly, share an umbrella with his ex's (who'd stayed at his house for the time being) when they met at the convenience store. Feeling guilty and need to explain the situation, he decide to accompany his lover home. He fell deeply for his lover but he’s still didn’t know how the other party felt. Then after saying goodbye, he walks away without solving the matters. Suddenly, his lover called him, ran after him, grabbed his hand and kissed him intensely. As if his lover try to say...

... Talk myself out of feeling
Talk my way out of control
Talk myself out of falling in love
Falling in love with you...

He lost words. But his lover said that it just a “thank you” kiss, nothing more. He couldn’t believed that blatant lie, however, when he saw the flushed and flustered face of his lover. Anyone would get their hope soar high at this rate, right?

Far away, far away
Waste away tonight
I'm wearing my heart on a noose

Far away, far away
Waste away tonight
Tonight my heart's on the loose

 I’m rooting for you, Sensei!
